">Our Water team promotes holistic, sustainable water resource management for governments, investors, developers, manufacturers, utilities, and corporations. This includes network maintenance and development, risk mitigation, regulatory compliance, cost reduction, and future-ready strategies.
">About the Role
">Due to continued success in Australia, our Water business is seeking an experienced Planning Engineer to join our National Asset Management and Planning team. We are interested in speaking with individuals from Senior to Principal level.
">As a Senior Water & Sewer Planning Engineer, you will be responsible for leading technical assessments of water supply and sewerage networks addressing drivers like growth, compliance, network performance improvement, and renewals through strategic and master planning, options assessments, feasibility investigations, and detailed planning projects.
">You will also have exposure to and support our asset management and strategy development functions, working with key clients across Australia.
">Your Responsibilities
">- Lead and undertake key technical tasks across high-profile water infrastructure projects.">
- Lead/Assist in client and stakeholder workshops.">
- Prepare well-written technical reports on medium to large projects.">
- Assist in preparing proposals on medium to large projects.">
- Supervise and coordinate project team members to achieve project outcomes and meet client objectives and expectations.">
- Participate in industry associations.">
- Comply with all roles-specific SHEQ obligations.">
About You
">Joining our team, you will have experience leading the delivery of efficient and effective engineering consultancy services to public and private sector clients, including proposal preparation.
">Proficiency in providing technical expertise across projects, planning water supply and sewerage networks, presenting effectively, leading project scoping or proposal development, understanding hydraulic principles, analytics techniques, and decision support methodologies is required.
">A recognised Bachelor's Degree (Engineering) or Equivalent, and Chartered status CPENG (an advantage), are necessary qualifications.
