Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Investment Accountant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the investment accounting for IFM products and investments, as directed by senior management.

The role requires strong analytical and technical skills, with the ability to prepare timely and accurate financial reports and statements. A high level of proficiency in fund accounting systems is essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare Net Asset Values and Unit Prices in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Record transactions in fund accounting systems.
  • Perform cash and position reconciliations where required.
  • Prepare and review information for investors.
  • Assist with statutory reporting for compliance.
  • Support various initiatives including trade and transaction settlements and reconciliations.
  • Adhoc reporting for operations and front office stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Typically 5 years of experience in accounting, particularly investment accounting.
  • Tertiary qualification in law, commerce, economics, finance or related field.
  • CA/CPA qualifications (or working towards).
  • Significant financial knowledge.
