Electrical Service Role Overview

As an electrical service technician, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our clients' equipment across Australia. This position offers a unique opportunity to develop and build relationships with customers while conducting maintenance and reactive services on a broad range of industrial and commercial food and beverage equipment.

  • Job Responsibilities:
    • Carry out preventative and corrective Maintenance on equipment at customer's premises, requiring problem-solving and diagnostic skills to identify faults with equipment.
    • Perform the Installation and Commissioning of equipment under the guidance of project management teams.
    • Complete all required paperwork accurately and efficiently to avoid delays in invoicing and payment from customers.
    • Deliver technical coaching to service technicians and provide feedback throughout the process.
    • Ensure compliance with all customers' site procedures and policies.
    • Take ownership of jobs and utilize initiative to deliver exceptional levels of customer service.
    • Conduct regular stock takes to minimize stock losses.
    • Develop strong relationships with both internal and external customers.
">Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Essential Requirements:
    • Full Electrical License or refrigeration mechanics certification.
    • Valid driver's license.
    • Extensive experience in Fault Finding.
    • Service work experience and/or industrial experience.
    • Availability for On Call (nights, weekends, public holidays) on a rostered basis.
    • Excellent customer service skills.
    • Strong problem-solving ability.
    • Ability and willingness to use PDA (handheld computer).
    • Excellent communication skills.
    • Capacity to work under pressure, manage competing demands, and meet deadlines.
    • Proactive approach to job tasks.
    • Ability to work with minimal supervision.
    • Highly motivated self-starter.
