Job Opportunity: Environmental Leadership
We are seeking an experienced Department Manager to lead our environmental division. In this role, you will be responsible for operational performance, safety compliance, and client satisfaction, while driving growth and profitability.
Your Key Responsibilities Include:
- Operational Excellence: Manage daily spill response operations, oversee field crews across multiple projects, and ensure strict compliance with EPA regulations.
- Customer Growth: Build strong client relationships, identify new business opportunities, prepare quotations and project scopes, and pursue strategic partnerships.
- Financial Acumen: Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cost control, monitor financial performance, and report on key metrics.
- Team Empowerment: Provide clear leadership to field crews and administrative staff, manage rosters and resource allocation, facilitate regular team meetings, and deliver training sessions.
About You:
You are a confident leader who thrives in a hands-on operational role, balancing people management, compliance, and commercial growth. Ideally, you bring:
- Proven experience in senior operational or business development roles.
- A background in environmental services, waste management, or related fields.
- Strong knowledge of EPA regulations and industry best practices.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
