Key Responsibilities

As a Graduate Process Engineer, you will play a key role in supporting process improvement and sustainability initiatives at our flagship site.

  • Collaborate with experienced engineers and operational leaders to drive engineering expertise in the company.
  • Understand and interpret operational components of plant testing.
  • Assess and process engineering checks to ensure optimal plant performance.
  • Analyse results and data to identify areas for improvement.
  • Work safely and understand HSE requirements, conducting audits and hazard identification on site.
  • In the second year, work on new low-carbon products to support Net Zero Carbon targets.
  • Manage plant upgrades and modifications to improve efficiency.


Required Skills and Qualifications:

Technical Expertise
  • Completion or near completion of a tertiary qualification in Chemical Engineering, Materials Engineering, or equivalent.
  • Interest and proficiency in data analytics and visualisation is vital.
  • Exposure or interest in heavy manufacturing, minerals processing, mining, and construction.
Personal Qualities
  • Proactive attitude with commitment to safety and the environment.
  • Drive for continuous improvement and achieving cost and efficiency gains.
  • Positive, inquiring, can-do, and curious nature.
  • Flexibility to travel within state and interstate as required.
