Technical Lead

We are seeking an exceptional Software Engineering Manager to lead our engineering teams in designing, developing, and maintaining complex software systems.
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the design, development, and maintenance of high-quality software products. This role requires strong technical expertise, excellent leadership and people development skills, as well as the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead a team of engineers in designing, developing, and maintaining complex software systems
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products and features
- Mentor and coach individual engineers to improve their skills and knowledge
- Prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders across different levels and functions
Requirements:
- Extremely proficient in at least 1 programming language (Java, Scala, C#)
- Strong experience in systems architecture – particularly in complex, scalable and fault tolerant distributed systems
- Demonstrable experience as a system owner with operational responsibility
- Proficient in lower level engineering (Garbage collection, context switching, threading)
- DevOps culture – Agility. Leanness. Automation. CI/CD
- Good understanding of application security
- Passionate about technology and the Internet
- Must have worked in a successful agile development team
- Must have run engineering teams before with 5+ direct reports
