Our organisation is a specialist contractor delivering equipment, technology and integrated engineering services to the global energy industry.

We support our clients in optimising their efficiency by ensuring the performance, reliability and safety of critical equipment and people.

Our headquarters are based in Aberdeen with over 1600 employees working across numerous operational locations worldwide.

We seek an experienced inspector to execute inspection work offshore and onshore.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To conduct thorough examinations and testing of loose items of rigging/lifting equipment and lifting appliances.
  • To perform inspection and testing of critical lifting appliances such as Pedestal Deck Cranes utility winches man-riding equipment and lifesaving apparatus.

Inspectors:

  • To carry out inspection tasks without supervision including report writing on the inspection database.
  • To carry out additional miscellaneous inspection duties and ropes access work where required.

Responsibilities:

  • Familiarity with our organisation's policy and active participation in compliance and improvement of our Integrated Management System.
  • Reporting incidents near misses actual or potential problems to Line Managers.
  • Following all processes and procedures under country-specific health and safety legislation.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • IRATA Rope Access Level 1/2.
  • UKOOA Offshore Medical.
  • BOSIET.
  • MSIC.
  • Good Communication skills.
  • Fluent in Written and Spoken English.
  • Good Understanding of Microsoft Office (Word Excel).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in Inspection.
  • Magnetic Particle Inspection Level 2.
  • Ultrasonic Thickness (welds ideal).
  • Eddy Current Level 2.
