We are seeking enthusiastic candidates to join our exciting mechanical apprenticeship program in 2025.
Salary
The estimated salary for this role is around $60,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
About the Role
As a Mechanical Apprentice, you'll undertake a structured four-year rotation at BlueScope, Western Port, a respected Australian steel manufacturer.
You'll experience a professional, inclusive workplace with a robust safety culture (accredited to the AS4801 standard). All tools, uniform and personal protective equipment (PPE) will be supplied, and you'll also have access to:
- extensive on- and off-the-job training to develop your practical skills and knowledge;
- state-of-the-art manufacturing equipment; and
- an attractive remuneration package.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be eligible for this role, you must:
- have successfully completed a full Year 10 education;
- hold a Certificate II in Engineering Studies or equivalent;
- be aged 16 years and over (adult apprentice candidates will also be considered); and
- be eligible for employment in Australia.
