We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Independent Occupational Therapist Contractor to make a positive community impact.

Job Description

This role involves assessing participants' emotional, psychological, cognitive, developmental, and physical functions through clinical observations and standardized assessments.

The successful candidate will interpret findings to develop tailored treatment goals for each participant, provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, and support and advise on environmental adaptations in settings such as home, school, work, and residential facilities.

A key aspect of this role is recommending assistive technology to help participants overcome functional limitations and promote independence.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • Current registration with AHPRA as an Occupational Therapist.
  • Experience working with NDIS participants.
  • Relevant insurances including Public Liability, Professional Indemnity, and Comprehensive Car Insurance.
  • Police clearance, Working with Children Check, and NDIS Worker Screening Check.
  • An active ABN.
