Job Description

The Project Controller will be responsible for overseeing the planning, monitoring, and controlling of projects within our organization. This role demands a highly organized and analytical individual with excellent financial knowledge and project management skills to work closely with project managers, finance teams, and other stakeholders to ensure project efficiency and effectiveness.

Responsibilities:

  1. Financial Performance:
    • Establish and manage project budgets, forecasts, and financial models to facilitate informed decision-making.
    • Regularly review project financial performance and provide reports to project managers and leadership to enable timely interventions.
    • Analyse discrepancies between budgeted and actual costs to identify areas for improvement and cost-saving opportunities.
  2. Project Execution:
    • Collaborate with project managers to develop project plans, schedules, and resource allocation to optimize project outcomes.
    • Monitor project progress, milestones, and deliverables to ensure alignment with project objectives and stakeholder expectations.
    • Identify and communicate potential risks and issues that may impact project timelines and budgets to enable proactive mitigation strategies.
  3. Reporting and Insights:
    • Prepare regular financial and project performance reports for internal and external stakeholders to facilitate informed decision-making.
    • Conduct in-depth analysis of project data to provide valuable insights and recommendations for improvement to drive business growth.
    • Support project managers in decision-making through data-driven insights to enhance project success.
  4. Regulatory Compliance:
    • Ensure projects comply with relevant regulations, policies, and procedures to maintain compliance and minimize risks.
    • Maintain accurate project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and approvals, to facilitate smooth project execution.
    • Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to mitigate risks associated with project activities and ensure regulatory compliance.
