Student Support Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled Student Support Professional to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual who is passionate about providing exceptional support to students and helping them achieve their academic goals.

In this role, you will provide individual and group counselling to students on academic and future progress, as well as welfare matters. You will offer culturally sensitive support and guidance tailored to the diverse needs of international students.

The ideal candidate will hold formal qualifications in counselling, with experience in providing support in an intercultural context. They will demonstrate a strong understanding of the challenges faced by international students and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

You will be responsible for developing and delivering workshops and resources on academic and personal well-being. You will also evaluate and refine our counselling services to ensure they remain accessible and effective.

About You
  • A bachelor's or master's degree in Counselling or Psychology.
  • Relevant experience in providing counselling services to students, preferably in an ELICOS or educational setting.

  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage a caseload effectively.
  • Understanding of cultural diversity and sensitivity to the needs of international students.
