Job Opportunity:
Trolley Collection Operative

We are seeking a motivated and physically fit individual to join our proactive services team as a Trolley Collection Operative.

This role involves ensuring that trolleys are available for customers and stores are in a pristine condition.

  • Collect trolleys from car parks and surrounding suburbs using a designated vehicle.
  • Pile collected trolleys onto the vehicle.
  • Return collected trolleys to designated storage bays.
  • Perform pre-start and handover routines for the vehicle.
  • Adhere to all operational procedures related to vehicle operation and trolley collection.
  • Report any issues with unretrievable trolleys.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Physical trolley collection, transportation, and storage throughout the shift.
  2. Vehicle operation and maintenance according to guidelines.
  3. Documentation of trolley collection and storage activities.
  4. Maintenance of a clean and organized workspace.
  5. Development and implementation of strategies to improve efficiency and productivity.

Requirements:

  • Current Australian driver's license or equivalent.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks associated with trolley collection and transportation.
  • Flexibility to work across various shifts and days, including weekends.
  • Strong work ethic and capacity to work independently and as part of a team.

Working Hours:

Flexibility to work across various shifts, including early morning and late afternoon shifts, Monday through Sunday.
