Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Civil Maintenance Labourer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting with the full range of civil maintenance and construction activities across the municipality in a safe and efficient manner.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Liaise with the Team Leader to ensure civil maintenance works are planned and coordinated as required.
  • Conduct general maintenance works on the Council's road network to identify and rectify defects.
  • Install and maintain signage across the road network and other Council areas.
  • Undertake painting and line marking of roads and footpaths.
  • Install & maintain various stormwater infrastructure components.
  • Carry out the general maintenance to various council assets.
  • Undertake traffic control in accordance with Council's policies.
  • Work in accordance with relevant Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS).

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications and skills:


  • Minimum Class C Drivers Licence.
  • WHS construction induction white card.
  • Safe Work NSW Traffic Controller - TC.
  • Safe Work NSW Implement Traffic Control Plan – IMP.
