About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Heavy Vehicle Driver to join our team at JJ's Waste & Recycling in Melbourne. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating our waste collection vehicles to service multiple customer sites.

With a focus on customer satisfaction and safety, you will work closely with our depot team to ensure timely and reliable service delivery. You will also be required to maintain accurate records and reports, and participate in ongoing training and development to enhance your skills and knowledge.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate heavy vehicles in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all relevant regulations and company policies
  • Service multiple customer sites, ensuring timely and reliable delivery of waste management services
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, including vehicle maintenance and customer interactions
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance skills and knowledge
  • Work collaboratively with depot team to achieve operational goals and objectives
Requirements
  • Current HR license
  • Side arm, rear lift, crane truck, hook lift or front lift truck experience preferred (full training provided)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Commitment to safety and customer satisfaction
