Job Title: State Lead - Construction Consultancy

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic State Lead to oversee our Queensland operations. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing a team of professionals across various sectors, ensuring high performance and continuous development.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and manage a team of professionals across various sectors, ensuring high performance and continuous development.
  • Project Management: Oversee and coordinate public and private construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
  • Client Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored consultancy services.
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategic plans to grow the business in Queensland, identifying new opportunities and optimizing existing operations.
  • Financial Management: Monitor budgets, financial performance, and resource allocation to ensure the profitability and efficiency of projects.
  • Compliance: Ensure all projects comply with relevant regulations, industry standards, and best practices.
  • Reporting: Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on project status, team performance, and market trends.
Requirements:
  • Experience: Minimum of 7 years of experience in construction consultancy, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Ideally have worked across build, fit-out, refurbishments, Capex and new build construction projects.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Skills:
    • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • In-depth knowledge of public and private construction projects.
    • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
    • Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Certifications: Relevant industry certifications are highly desirable.
