About this role

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Proactive Services team at Woolworths Group as a Trolley Collection Driver.

As a Trolley Collection Driver, you will be responsible for collecting trolleys from car parks and surrounding streets using a vehicle.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Driving a trolley collection vehicle and collecting trolleys from car parks and surrounding suburbs
  • Pushing trolleys up a ramp onto the trolley collection vehicle
  • Collecting trolleys left in and around the store and returning them to the trolley bays
  • Carrying out all pre-start and handover routines for the vehicle
  • Following all safety and operational processes and procedures related to vehicle operation and trolley collection
  • Following all road rules and reporting any issues related to unretrievable trolleys
  • You may also be required to complete cleaning and waste disposal tasks

About you

We are looking for a motivated and reliable individual to join our team. As a Trolley Collection Driver, you will need to hold a full (unrestricted) Australian drivers licence or Provisional P2 drivers licence (Green P Plates).

Additionally, you will need to have:

  • Physical fitness to transition from driving a vehicle to physically collecting and loading trolleys throughout your shift
  • Availability to work across Monday-Sunday and shifts starting from 6am or 4pm
  • A strong work ethic and ability to work independently and as part of a team
