Job Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Caregiver to join our team at our residential care centre in Meadow Springs. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to our residents.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct care and support to residents in accordance with their individualized care plans.
  • Assist residents with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Encourage and promote the activities program for residents, including social events and recreational activities.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of resident care and services provided.
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality care is delivered to residents.
Requirements
  • Possess a Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing) or equivalent qualification.
  • Have previous experience working in residential aged care, preferably in a similar role.
  • Be available to work various shifts, including morning, afternoon, and night shifts, over a minimum of 3-4 days per week.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to relate to older adults with empathy and understanding.
  • Hold a current First Aid Certificate and be willing to undergo regular training and professional development.
