Childcare Educator

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Childcare Educator to join our team at the Central Australian Aboriginal Congress Early Childhood Centre in Alice Springs, NT.
About the Role:
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with children aged 0-5 years, providing high-quality education, nutrition, and care. Our centre uses a bi-cultural adaptation of the Abecedarian Approach Australia (3a), which focuses on supporting the learning and development of young children.
Key Responsibilities:
- To provide a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment for children to learn and grow;
- To develop and implement engaging educational programs that cater to the individual needs of each child;
- To work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve excellent outcomes for children and families;
- To maintain accurate records and reports as required by ACECQA and the Department of Education;
- To participate in professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge in early childhood education.
Qualifications and Experience:
Applicants must hold a qualification in Children's Services or equivalent, recognised by ACECQA. A minimum of 2 years' experience working with children aged 0-5 years is also essential. The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong understanding of the importance of cultural competence and be committed to working in partnership with families and communities.
