
Senior Leadership Role in Disability Support

This is a senior leadership position focused on promoting inclusion and improving the learning, wellbeing, and independence of students with disabilities. The role requires a strategic thinker who can drive a school-wide culture of inclusion, aligning with the Departmental Deputy Principal role statements.
The successful candidate will have proven experience in supporting students with disability, including relevant qualifications in inclusion or special education. They will be able to develop staff capacity to promote learning and wellbeing growth for students with disability through evidence-informed practices and fostering a culture of support for all students.
The ideal candidate will have demonstrated expertise in leading a school-wide culture that values and promotes inclusion and equity. They will be able to foster positive relationships with students, their families, staff, and allied health professionals to collaborate on reasonable adjustments, including implementing, monitoring, and adjusting, to maximise learning and wellbeing outcomes for students with disability.
Key responsibilities include:
- • Developing and implementing strategies to promote inclusion and equity
• Leading staff professional development to improve teaching and learning programs for students with disability
• Collaborating with stakeholders to identify and address barriers to inclusion
• Monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of inclusion initiatives
