Application Specialist

We are seeking a skilled professional to assume three key roles: providing comprehensive product knowledge, pre-sales assistance and tailored solutions to customers; delivering external customer training; and maintaining professional relationships with suppliers and customers.

The primary responsibility will be to offer expert advice on power generation equipment, helping customers make informed decisions about their specific requirements. This includes providing comprehensive after-sales support, including troubleshooting and specialised advice on controllers.

In addition, the successful candidate will design, curate and deliver comprehensive training programs focused on the practical operation, maintenance and troubleshooting of controllers and associated power generation equipment.

To succeed in this role, you will have a genuine interest in innovation and technologies within the energy market. You will possess a high degree of technical know-how, excellent communication skills, and a solution-based approach to working.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive product knowledge, pre-sales and after-sales assistance, and tailored solutions to customers.
  • Deliver external customer training.
  • Maintain professional relationships with suppliers and customers.
  • Alert stakeholders to early issues or potential risks and provide alternative solutions.
  • Regularly monitor performance against quotes.
  • Engage positively with colleagues across all departments.
  • Provide feedback and recommendations on the development of existing products.
