Physical Security Specialist, AWS Security Architect

We are seeking a highly skilled Physical Security Specialist to join our team at Amazon. This role will be responsible for designing and implementing secure facilities that meet the unique needs of our organization.
Key Responsibilities- Create detailed physical security system designs and guidance to ensure compliance with government policies and frameworks.
- Provide subject matter expertise to support the AWS Security leadership and other security teams, with a focus on physical security.
- Manage and implement physical security risk, threat, and vulnerability deliverables.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A degree in Architectural, Electrical Engineering, or Physical Security, or equivalent experience in a related security field.
- 10+ years' experience in physical security system design and engineering.
- 5+ years' experience with one or more drafting technologies such as AutoCad, BlueBeam, and others.
- Proficient with government security frameworks, policies, and standards (e.g., PSPF, ISM, DSPF, ASD Essential Eight).
This role offers a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus additional benefits including:
