We invite a skilled Research Associate to contribute to our collaborative team.

This position offers an excellent opportunity for someone with expertise in architecture, computational design, architectural engineering, or construction. You will work alongside world-class researchers, academics, award-winning practitioners, and global thought leaders.

We focus on enhancing quality of life while minimising impact on the environment through innovation in designing, constructing, and maintaining the natural and built environment.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Conduct and lead innovative research projects.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including industry partners.
  • Manage project resources and timelines effectively.
  • Contribute to the preparation of research publications and creative outputs.
  • Foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
  1. A PhD in an architecture, computational design, architectural engineering, construction, or related discipline/area of research is preferred.
  2. Demonstrated research and administrative experience with evidence such as contributions to recent publications and/or creative outputs, experience of working on grant-funded projects or in research teams.
  3. Demonstrated creativity and design strengths which may include computational design experience, innovative design practice, and good graphical and communication skills.
  4. Demonstrated capacity and skills to manage resources and time.
  5. Ability to work autonomously whilst displaying a strong commitment to work in a team environment, including the demonstrated ability to work confidently and effectively with colleagues, project team leaders, and potentially industry partners.
  6. Willingness to work as required on diverse projects.
  7. Commitment to the principles of equity, diversity, and inclusion.
