Senior Solicitor

The role of Senior Solicitor involves providing timely and practical legal advice to the Office of the University Solicitor - Corporate Services Division at CQUniversity.

Key responsibilities include delivering high-quality legal solutions, supporting the University Solicitor on key projects, and collaborating with faculties and divisions to manage legal risk.

Requirements:

  • Admission as a Solicitor in Australia with at least five years' post-admission experience.
  • A current unregistered Queensland Law Society Practising Certificate or eligibility to obtain one.
  • Strong knowledge of Australian commercial and administrative law.
  • Experience in complex organisations, ideally within higher education.
