
Signalling System Specialist

We're seeking a highly skilled Signal Maintenance Technician to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who are passionate about ensuring the smooth operation of signalling systems.
As a Signal Maintenance Technician, you will play a critical role in installing, maintaining and troubleshooting signalling equipment to ensure safe and efficient train movement.
Key responsibilities include:
- Installation: Set up new signalling systems or upgrade existing ones according to specifications and safety standards.
- Maintenance: Conduct regular inspections, testing, and maintenance procedures to ensure proper functioning of signalling equipment.
- Troubleshooting: Identify and diagnose faults or malfunctions in signalling equipment and implement repairs or adjustments to restore functionality.
- Testing and Commissioning: Conduct thorough testing of signalling systems to ensure reliability and adherence to safety regulations before putting them into service.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, inspections, repairs, and testing results.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other railway personnel to coordinate signalling activities and ensure safe and efficient train movement.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- Certificate IV in Electrical (Rail Signalling)
- Electrical License
- White Card
In addition, ideal candidates will have experience as a Signalling Technician, RIW Card, C-class driver's licence, strong communication skills, and excellent problem-solving skills.
