Machine Learning Fraud Prevention Specialist">

At our company, we're dedicated to providing a safe and secure environment for our users. To achieve this goal, we're seeking an experienced Machine Learning Fraud Prevention Specialist to join our team.

This role is focused on developing and deploying fraud detection models to prevent revenue leakage across our monetization channels. You will collaborate with backend engineers, data scientists, and product managers to build and iterate on fraud prevention strategies.

As a specialist in this field, you will:

  • Develop a deep understanding of our business and how to exploit it for monetary gain.
  • Shape our fraud ML strategy using a strong product + platform mindset.
  • Architect, build, and maintain ML systems that underpin fraud detection and response.
  • Mentor and upskill engineers and data scientists in the team to support you.
  • Advocate for ethical AI practices and user trust in our fraud prevention approaches.

You'll be working closely with cross-functional teams to drive clarity in chaos and ensure seamless collaboration. Your hands-on experience in building complex internal tools and user-facing flows at scale will be valuable assets in this role.

If you have a strong grasp of core CS fundamentals, system design, and architecture, and are fluent in Python with knowledge of PyTorch, TensorFlow, or scikit-learn, we'd love to hear from you.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Built and deployed machine learning models in production environments.
  • Operate strategically, shaping what should be built rather than just building what's asked.
  • Navigate ambiguous problem spaces with incomplete data and evolving priorities.
  • Strong product sense and empathy for both internal and external users.
  • Fluent in Python and familiar with tools like PyTorch, TensorFlow, or scikit-learn.
