SA Health is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Neuropsychologist to join our team at Hampstead Rehabilitation Centre, Central Adelaide Local Health Network (CALHN). As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will work closely with allied health, medical, and nursing professionals to provide world-class care to older adults.
The successful applicant will be responsible for completing assessments of cognition, including differential diagnosis, and decision-making capacity. You will also provide consultation to medical and allied health team members, deliver feedback and education to patients and their families, and have the opportunity to facilitate groups and provide behavioral intervention/management for patients experiencing Behavioral and Psychological Symptoms of Dementia (BPSD).
CALHN offers a vibrant and supportive department of Clinical Neuropsychologists, Clinical Psychologists, and Health Psychologists, with regular professional development opportunities and supervision provided. The role may also require flexible support to neuropsychology teams across different services and sites within CALHN, in response to clinical demand.
Key Responsibilities- Complete assessments of cognition and decision-making capacity
- Provide consultation to medical and allied health team members
- Deliver feedback and education to patients and their families
- Facilitate groups and provide behavioral intervention/management for patients experiencing BPSD
- Support neuropsychology teams across different services and sites within CALHN
- Qualifications as outlined in the role description
- Current National Police Clearance (NPC)
- Immunisation screening as indicated in the role description
