Role Overview

The Aviation C4ISREW Training and Support Systems (ACTSS) team is accountable for managing, delivering, and supporting common products and systems across multiple Army aircraft types.

  • Aviation Mission Systems, Armament;
  • Life and Ground Support (ALGS); and
  • Training Systems.

We are seeking a highly motivated individual to fill the Integrated Logistics Support Officer position in our team.

The APS 6 Integrated Logistics Support Officer will be responsible for various activities including:

  • Providing primary logistics acquisition and sustainment support to the Aviation Mission System product team and end user;
  • Conducting procurements and ensuring DMFP is considered and reviewed throughout the reporting phases;
  • Conducting periodic reviews of extant Aviation Mission System support contracts to ensure appropriate logistics coverage in relation to sparing, repairs, and warranties;
  • Assisting in developing and maintaining an Aviation Mission System Integrated Logistics Support Plan;
  • Liaising with Defence Logistics Managers to ensure demands for common items are fulfilled IAW policy/process time frames;
  • Conducting regular reviews of the Aviation Mission System supply chain to identify/implement further efficiencies;
  • Identifying and monitoring Key Performance Indicators to track the supply chain health of the Aviation Mission System;
  • Managing Aviation Mission System Freight requirements, including safe-hand for sensitive items;
  • Supporting the ACTSS Disposal Manager in the disposal of Aviation Mission System equipment;
  • Generating responses to complex correspondence, briefs, and reports for higher delegate consideration;
  • Building and sustaining relationships with key stakeholders at the operational and business unit level;
  • Resolving problems using expertise, taking the initiative to identify alternative courses of actions;
  • Supporting other functional areas within ACTSS when required.
