Role of the Planning Director

The Planning Director will work closely with a key client contact to provide leadership, direction, and high-quality day-to-day service delivery. The role involves overseeing planning across all online and offline channels with a focus on digital.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Conduct a thorough analysis of clients' business and identify key factors and trends shaping their markets and category.
  • Build and maintain excellent relationships with clients and partner agencies.
  • Focus on channel planning including producing supporting documentation detailing the media ecosystem, channel selection, role of the channel, phasing, block plan, and budget.
  • Be accountable for ensuring the timely delivery of components of the response to brief including strategy, communication planning, investment, optimization, and collaborating with internal and external teams to bring this to life.
  • Influence, inspire, and motivate team members. Manage workloads of senior staff including managers, planners, and coordinators.
  • Assist in identifying opportunities to grow existing business and drive organic growth through various services.
