Job Title: Maintenance Team Member

Description:

We are seeking a skilled maintenance professional to join our team at Woodgrove Shopping Centre. The ideal candidate will be responsible for carrying out general handy-person and trade duties, as well as preventative and corrective maintenance work.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Carry out preventative and corrective maintenance work on various systems and equipment
  • Maintain the presentation of the centre to a high standard, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for customers and staff
  • Provide excellent customer service skills, responding promptly to tenant and client needs
  • Demonstrate flexibility to work across different shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a retail environment, preferably with maintenance or technical roles
  • Ability to manage a team and work independently, with strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Trade qualification in carpentry, plumbing, electrical engineering, or other related fields
  • Self-motivated and responsible individual, with good time management and organisational skills
  • Physically capable of moving equipment and performing manual tasks
  • Liaise with customers, handle complaints, and provide solutions in a professional manner
