Job Details

This is a full-time fixed term position based in Sydney for 12 months. The successful candidate will oversee the event and award management of five annual State Media Awards.

About the Role:
  • Coordinate events across Tasmania, South Australia, Queensland, Western Australia and the Northern Territory to achieve successful outcomes.
  • Implement event planning and scheduling strategies.
  • Negotiate with suppliers and stakeholders to deliver marketing and communication materials for each event.
  • Ensure sponsors' benefits are delivered efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Manage events according to set standards and expectations.
  2. Plan and schedule events to meet deadlines.
  3. Foster relationships with stakeholders and suppliers.
  4. Deliver high-quality marketing and communication materials.
About You:

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience in organizing events.
  • Strong budgeting skills and a track record of operating within allocated funds.
  • Excellent time management and interpersonal skills.
