Job Description

We are seeking talented and motivated individuals who have recently graduated from law at university to join our team. As a Law Graduate, you will work on a range of policy design and implementation projects, applying your skills to provide advice to departments, states, and territories on the application of Cabinet Exemptions to documents discovered in the process of a Freedom of Information (FOI) request.

You will be responsible for providing quick thinking and good problem-solving skills to tackle complex issues, working closely with colleagues to deliver high-quality results. You may be exposed to various areas, including key legal policy work, FOI and privacy casework, and implementation of environmental and water election commitments.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • You must have completed your university degree within the last eight years or be in your final year of study.
  • You should have excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • You should be adaptable and flexible, with a willingness to relocate to Canberra and undergo police, character, and health checks.
