Role Overview

As a pivotal figure in the enhancement and utilization of Pega within the Banking and Financial Services sector, you will be instrumental in modernizing our Pega platforms. These platforms facilitate orchestration and workflow across critical domains such as Origination, Servicing, Payments, and Collections.

Your Contributions

In your capacity as the Pega Platform Owner, you will oversee our Center of Excellence (COE) and lead our modernization initiatives. This includes transitioning from a monolithic structure to a service-oriented architecture, as well as managing our architecture and engineering forums. You will play a key role in establishing standards, promoting out-of-the-box (OOTB) functionality, and ensuring best practices are followed. Collaborating closely with Engineering and Product Directors, as well as key business stakeholders, you will optimize our investment in Pega.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the modernization team and drive the decoupling of existing systems into a service-based architecture.
  • Establish and uphold architectural guidelines and best practices.
  • Facilitate technical guilds and forums to foster knowledge sharing.
  • Provide design recommendations that maximize OOTB capabilities and promote reusability across platforms.
  • Align business requirements with software solutions through close collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Manage the end-to-end delivery of changes from inception to production.
  • Ensure a comprehensive understanding of Pega best practices and architecture.
  • Familiarity with AWS or GCP is advantageous.
