About The Role

As a Solicitor, you will provide expert advice and support to socially and economically disadvantaged clients, working within an interdisciplinary team to meet their legal and non-legal needs.

You will conduct effective legal practices, communicate clearly with courts, agencies, and colleagues, and use technology effectively to solve problems.

Flexible work arrangements are available, with a mix of office, court, and work-from-home days based on operational needs.


Key Responsibilities
  • Providing high-quality, trauma-informed advice and minor assistance to clients
  • Conducting effective legal practices and working within an interdisciplinary team
  • Communicating clearly with courts, agencies, and colleagues
  • Using technology effectively to solve problems

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • To be admitted or eligible for admission as a legal practitioner in NSW
  • Hold a current NSW Practising Certificate
  • Be willing to do a Criminal Record Check and Working with Children Check
  • Hold Australian or NZ citizenship, Australian Permanent Residency
  • Have the capacity to travel regularly, and to regional and remote areas
