Job Opportunity: Mental Health Clinician – Dva

This fixed-term role is based in Brisbane, offering a hybrid working model for a qualified and registered mental health professional. The successful candidate will join our team to provide intake, assessment, and triage services within a telephone-based clinical team.

About the Role:

  • Deliver high-quality care through immediate, trauma-informed mental health support, making appropriate referrals to specialist and crisis care services as needed.
  • Conduct intake, risk assessment, crisis intervention, and brief counseling sessions with clients.
  • Coordinate care with families, other providers, and internal stakeholders to ensure comprehensive support.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and case notes in line with policy and standards.
  • Participate in team meetings, case reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

You are required to be a qualified and registered mental health professional with experience in intake, triage, and brief interventions in a fast-paced environment. You should possess strong communication skills and sound judgment in high-pressure situations, with a commitment to trauma-informed care.
