Lead a Residential Care Facility:

The Service Manager will oversee the daily operations of a 98-bed aged care facility and 14 retirement living units, driving care quality, safety, and operational efficiency.

About the Role:

  • Guide a diverse team to foster a culture aligned with our mission and values.
  • Implement and maintain contemporary clinical practices to ensure high standards of residential care and lifestyle programs that meet or exceed resident needs.
  • Oversee activities to maximize efficiency and safety for residents, staff, and visitors, ensuring the facility meets accreditation standards.
  • Drive financial targets, including budget management and resource allocation, to support service sustainability.
  • Develop relationships within the local community to boost occupancy and enhance the facility's reputation.

Requirements:

  • Experienced service manager with a background in residential aged care and a track record of managing medium to large teams.
  • Strong understanding of aged care quality standards, incident investigation, and complaints management.
  • Current registration as a Registered Nurse or other clinical professional with AHPRA, or postgraduate qualifications in health or business administration.
  • At least 5 years of post-graduate experience, with recent management experience in aged care or health administration.
  • Leadership and management abilities, communication and interpersonal skills, and proficiency in problem-solving and decision-making.
  • Dedication to continuous improvement, safety, legislative compliance, and the organization's mission and values.
