Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Heavy Diesel Mechanic to join our workshop team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for preparing new equipment to customer specifications and providing quality diagnostics and maintenance services.


Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance of new and used equipment in accordance with manufacturer specifications and/or specified times targeting improved job efficiency.
  • Preparation and testing pre-delivery inspections of new equipment.
  • Ensuring all work carried out is performed in a safe manner.
  • Completion and submission of all relevant paperwork and reports.
  • Maintaining a clean and safe working environment.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A relevant trade qualification - Certificate III in Mobile Plant Technology or equivalent discipline (Diesel Mechanic).
  • Trade Qualified Heavy Vehicle/Truck Mechanics are encouraged to apply.
  • Earthmoving equipment experience highly regarded.
  • A commitment to safety and strong understanding of Workplace Health and Safety principles.
  • Good communication skills and a dedication to providing quality work.
  • The ability to work within a team environment.
