Lead Perioperative Nursing Team

The operating theatres and recovery facilities support a wide range of surgical specialties, including trauma, orthopaedics, upper GI, urology, ENT, obstetrics and gynaecology, and ophthalmology.

About The Role

As a perioperative nursing leader, you will be responsible for day-to-day operations, rostering, resource allocation, problem-solving, and mentoring staff. You will also act as a role model to uphold policies and professional standards with evidence-based best-practice.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Day-to-day running of the department, including rostering, resource allocation, problem-solving, and mentoring staff.
  • Contribute to quality improvement, education, and research initiatives.

Requirements
