We are seeking an experienced and passionate Occupational Therapist to join our team at VMCH, a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to providing person-centred services to individuals with disabilities.

About the Role

This is a permanent full-time position based in Camberwell, Kew or Wantirna, offering hybrid work-from-home options. You will be part of a high-performing team and enjoy a competitive salary with NFP salary packaging benefits.

As an Occupational Therapist - Disability Support Specialist, you will develop and implement high-quality person-centred services to support individuals with disabilities to achieve their goals and independence within their home and community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide specialist assessment and intervention for clients with multiple and complex support needs
  • Collaborate with clients and their support networks to set and achieve goals
  • Deliver therapy supports in the client's chosen environment
  • Support and direct Allied Health and support staff
  • Evaluate assistive technology and home modifications for clients
Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Experience in providing occupational therapy services to individuals with disabilities
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Able to build rapport with diverse stakeholders
