**Farm Operations Assistant Wanted**

 

We are seeking a skilled farm operations assistant to join our team. The primary purpose of this role is to support all farm operations required to maintain project research sheep flocks.

The successful candidate will contribute to delivering high-level care and maintenance of research flock sheep, ensuring that animal health and wellbeing standards are met.

 

As part of our team, you will work closely with experienced farmers and researchers to develop and implement best practices for livestock management and welfare.

You will be responsible for:

  • Maintaining the health and wellbeing of research flock sheep
  • Assisting with project activities required to complete contracted research projects
  • Supporting farm operations, including feeding, watering, and monitoring livestock

 

This is an opportunity to work in a challenging and rewarding environment with a focus on advancing the prosperity and sustainability of South Australia's primary industries and regional communities.

 

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Perform manual tasks as required, including lifting 25 kg
  • Work outdoors in a rural setting
  • Hold a current driver's license
