Job Summary:

We are seeking a Store Assistant to manage the storage and inventory of our products. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment and contribute to the success of our business.

About the Role

  • Maintain a well-organized storeroom, ensuring that stock levels are accurate and up-to-date.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding promptly to customer queries and resolving any issues efficiently.
  • Loading & unloading deliveries, picking, packing, and dispatching orders, receiving goods in and out, and performing inventory and stocktakes.
  • Demonstrate safe driving practices at all times, adhering to road rules and regulations.
  • Champion a strong safety culture within the team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain a clean and organized warehouse, including shelving, racking and floor space.
  • Responsible for accurately receiving, storing and issuing stock.
  • Ensure stockroom is secure and accessible only to authorized personnel.
  • Support with loading and unloading of delivery vehicles.
  • Contribute to a positive and productive team environment by participating in meetings, sharing knowledge and expertise and supporting colleagues as needed.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a warehousing or store assistant role is desirable.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail are essential.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills are required to effectively interact with customers, management and other team members.
