Job Overview

This role plays a key part in ensuring contract compliance, managing procurement processes, and supporting tender submissions.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Contract administration activities across various projects in accordance with company procedures and contractual obligations.
  • Development, negotiation, and administration of contracts and agreements.
  • Payment claims processes preparation and tracking for head contracts and vendors.
  • Collaboration with Procurement and Legal teams to ensure accurate contract terms and compliance.
  • Assessment and approval of contract variations and claims.
  • Term agreements establishment and management with vendors and suppliers.
  • Commercial input to project and tender teams, aligning with client expectations and project outcomes.
  • Identification and resolution of potential contractual and commercial issues through critical thinking.
  • Safety, quality, and environmental considerations integration into daily activities and contract programming.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Law, or related disciplines.
  • Proven experience within the construction industry, understanding relevant legislation and contract law.
  • Confidence in contract negotiations and issuing contractual notices.
  • High attention to detail with strong documentation accuracy and compliance focus.
  • Australian Working Rights validity.
