About the Role

We are seeking a talented Civil Engineer to join our multi-disciplinary team supporting major water and wastewater infrastructure programs around Australia.

As a Civil Engineer, you will be an integral part of our national team, responsible for driving technical excellence in water and wastewater infrastructure design projects.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and executing civil designs from concept design to detailed design, ensuring high technical standards.
  • Producing and reviewing high-quality technical documentation.
  • Supporting the design team in improving client feedback and satisfaction.
  • Participating in project and design management across a range of projects and programs.
  • Mentoring and developing emerging professionals.
  • Collaborating effectively within local and national teams on large-scale, multi-disciplinary infrastructure projects and programs.
About You:

We are looking for experienced Civil Engineers with a proven track record in designing and delivering projects in the Water sector.

You will have prior experience working on projects involving water network infrastructure such as water and wastewater pipelines, pump stations, etc.

You will enjoy working in a collaborative team environment, engaging with clients, and providing civil engineering solutions that meet our clients' requirements.

You will have excellent written and verbal communication skills and a natural curiosity to develop innovative solutions.

You will have:

  • Experience in engineering consultancy or design roles for contractors or asset owners (Water industry experience).
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, or equivalent.
  • Proven experience as a Civil Engineer in a consultancy environment.
  • Experience in the design management of water and wastewater infrastructure projects.
  • Good knowledge of relevant industry-related Australian Standards and WSAA codes.
  • Well-developed use and understanding of Civil 3D modelling software, and 2D software is advantageous.
  • Understanding of related safety in design practices and processes.
  • Ability to submit technical reports to a high standard.
