Electronic Surveillance Analyst

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Electronic Surveillance Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering electronic surveillance products in support of AFP operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide close operational support in electronic surveillance analysis as directed by the Team Leader, Senior Electronic Surveillance Analysts and operations teams, in line with AFP priorities.
  • Maintain advanced currency in the application of a range of analytical methodologies such as discovery analysis, statistical analysis, anomaly analysis and trend analysis to address specific investigative requirements or intelligence gaps.
  • Demonstrate extensive technical knowledge, applied tradecraft and professional decision making in relevant domains to deliver problem-focused solutions in response to operational priorities.
Requirements:
  • You must be an Australian Citizen at the time of application.
  • A Negative Vetting 1 (Secret) security clearance or the ability to obtain one.
  • To have completed the Electronic Surveillance Analyst Foundations course or the ability to attain within six months of commencement.
  • Ability to successfully complete an annual psychological screening specific to this position.
  • Professional and effective stakeholder engagement and communications skills with the ability to manage relationships with diverse and stakeholder groups.
