Project Manager - Sustainable Tourism

  1. Manage camping sites and day use areas within the region, balancing operational demands, strategic planning, and relationship-building with all stakeholders.
  2. Develop and implement project plans, timelines, and budgets to ensure efficient delivery of outcomes.
  3. Collaborate with passionate teams, communities, and stakeholders who share a vision for sustainable tourism and land use.
  4. Lead a team of two field staff across a diverse range of landscapes, providing guidance, support, and coaching to achieve project goals.

Key qualifications include:

  • Tertiary qualifications in natural resource management, environmental management, or relevant fields.
  • Proven experience in overseeing complex projects from planning to execution across a large geographic area.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to navigate changing public and stakeholder expectations.
  • A track record of successfully engaging with communities to build trust and foster collaboration.
