Theatre and Arts Manager

Our ideal candidate will have a passion for the arts and theatre, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality events and programs. The successful applicant will be responsible for managing all aspects of theatre operations, including marketing, budget forecasting, booking season shows, and liaising with promoters.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team and contribute to the growth and success of our organisation. As the Theatre and Arts Manager, you will have the autonomy to develop and implement new ideas, while working closely with colleagues to achieve shared goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Event Management: Develop and implement a diverse calendar of arts and theatre events and programs, ensuring maximum attendance and engagement from local communities.
  • Theatre Operations: Oversee all aspects of theatre operations, including technical production, lighting, sound, and stage equipment.
  • Marketing and Promotion: Collaborate with the marketing team to promote upcoming events and ensure effective communication with stakeholders.
  • Team Management: Lead and motivate a team of theatre professionals, providing coaching and development opportunities to enhance performance.

Requirements:

  • Relevant experience in arts, theatre, or related field.
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality events and programs.
  • Excellent leadership and management skills.
  • Strong marketing and promotion skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
