Job Title: Facility Operations Manager
Job Overview:
The Facility Operations Manager plays a crucial role in overseeing the daily operations, maintenance, and safety of a facility. This position requires strong leadership and organizational skills to ensure all systems and services run efficiently and effectively.
Main Responsibilities:
- Ensure proper handling of products to meet customer requirements, including grading, packing, cool chain management, and dispatch.
- Evaluate incoming products for quality and determine grading resources.
- Monitor product quality throughout various stages of production, washing, grading, and final inspection.
- Address any issues related to mechanical damage or grading quality.
- Collaborate with Harvest Supervisor, Maintenance Manager, and Dispatch Manager.
- Maintain accurate Quality Assurance (QA) records for complete traceability.
- Manage the cool chain during product handling and dispatch.
- Ensure personnel are trained and perform according to standard procedures.
- Handle waste products in accordance with standard procedures.
- Ensure dispatches follow standard procedures.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- AQF Certificate III or IV, or equivalent, or three years of employment experience as a Facility Supervisor with relevant formal training, or five years of employment experience as a Facility Supervisor with no formal training.
- Demonstrate hardworking ethics and good attitudes.
- Show genuine commitment to long-term employment.
- Possibility of relocation to a regional area.
- At least two years of relevant work experience.
