Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Portfolio Analyst to join our team in Sydney. This is a senior role that requires excellent analytical, communication and problem-solving skills.

The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring positions in the portfolio, ensuring accurate delivery of portfolios to clients and communicating with clients on a regular basis.

This is a challenging role that requires strong attention to detail, a strong control mindset and the ability to work effectively in a small company environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • To liaise with clients on portfolios and ensure daily position and cash reconciliation processes between the Funds, prime brokers, custodians and administrators have been completed.
  • To ensure the portfolios delivered to the clients are accurate.
  • Corporate action monitoring and processing.
  • To resolve ad hoc P&L queries from the clients.
  • To be available to the clients for any ad-hoc queries.
Requirements

We are looking for someone with at least 5 years experience in the funds management industry, preferably at a buy-side firm. The ideal candidate will have exposure to swaps, futures and options, equities and will be able to demonstrate a strong understanding of financial markets and instruments.

Candidates must also possess excellent communication skills and be comfortable working in a small company environment where accountability is a priority.
