Transforming lives is a momentous task, and we're looking for individuals who can make a lasting impact. As an Employment Consultant with our Disability Employment Services team, you'll play a pivotal role in supporting participants to achieve their goals.
About the Role
You will work closely with stakeholders, including employers and participants, to deliver tailored employment solutions. This exciting and challenging role requires empathy, compassion, and excellent communication skills. If you're driven, solution-focused, and motivated to make a difference, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.
Key Responsibilities
- Secure Employment Opportunities: Identify and secure employment opportunities for participants with local employers, ensuring they have the skills and support needed to succeed.
- Participant Support: Work with participants to identify their skills and create personalized job plans that help them achieve their employment goals.
- Quality Service Delivery: Deliver high-quality service while adhering to all contractual and compliance requirements, ensuring participants receive the best possible support.
- Community Engagement: Build and maintain positive relationships with local employers and community groups, fostering a collaborative environment that supports participant success.
Eligibility and Qualifications
To be considered for this role, you'll need:
- Eligibility to work in Australia
- A current driver's licence and comprehensively insured vehicle
- MyGovID (Standard level)
- A willingness to complete a National Police Check and Working with Children Check
- Availability to work full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm
