PDHPE Teacher Position

This role is responsible for leading and implementing effective learning programs across the school, supporting the Principal in upholding the Catholic Church's vision.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Classroom Teaching:
  • Collaborate with colleagues to create a safe, stimulating learning environment that promotes excellence and acknowledges student needs.
  • Plan, prepare, record, evaluate, and report on work undertaken by classes, utilizing contemporary pedagogy and high-yield strategies.
  • Provide timely feedback and maintain accurate records of student progress.
Record-keeping and Reporting:
  • Communicate effectively with parents through written reports and parent-teacher interviews, ensuring transparency and cooperation.
Other Duties:
  • Maintain effective working relationships with teaching and non-teaching colleagues, fostering a cooperative and supportive environment.
Selection Criteria:
  1. Commitment to the Catholic ethos and a willingness to promote it.
  2. Demonstrate faithfulness, honesty, efficiency, and diligence in serving the employer.
  3. Ensure appropriate behavior when engaging with children.
