Role

An Education Leader is required to oversee the development of high-quality teaching and learning practices across our organization.

About this Role

This role will be responsible for providing leadership on all matters pertaining to quality Early Childhood Education and Care, ensuring the delivery of the nationally consistent and targeted teaching and learning support. The successful candidate will have exceptional coaching and influencing skills, with the ability to guide and support centers on their practice journey.

Main Responsibilities
  • Analyzing practice data for each center and presenting recommendations to State Managers on the Quality Improvement Plan Practice actions for the centre.
  • Escalating to State Managers any practice needs of centers that are surfacing through the Helpdesk, requiring support beyond what can be provided via the phone or the Partners.
  • Leading the Teaching and Learning Partners to ensure the delivery of high-quality and consistent Practice across centers, delivered through effective coaching and modelling in order to build sustainable teaching and learning capability in our center teams.
Requirements
  • A minimum 4-year Early Childhood qualification from a recognized university.
  • A tested track record of teaching and learning practice uplift delivery.
  • Experience in working at a "State" or national level in practice uplift.
  • Extensive practice-based early childhood education experience (aged birth to 8 years).
  • Sound knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework, other State-based approved/recognized learning guidelines, and the National Quality Standard.
